Just a short post today…

As it has been a bit of a tiring day. Heath has had V and D both times all over me. It’s been really gross and now that he is in bed and Annabelle is also asleep I’m going to open up a bottle of Rioja, put my feet up and watch a Chicago PD. Does anyone else like this series? I love it! Andy thinks all the police brutality is unrealistic but whether it is or not, it makes good drama.

Anyway, I hope you are all having a lovely evening and that you have an even better weekend. I’ll leave you with this image of my little man who seems to be enjoying his Tommee Tippee of water and snack in such a ‘comfortable’ position! Bx

Pregnancy Throwback Haul

In the Summer of 2014, I filmed this haul video for YouTube when I was about 20 weeks pregnant with Heath. I never had the courage to upload it and it is strange to watch it back now because I can see how nervous I was talking to the camera.

I edited it today and thought I would share it now because it is really nice to see my bump again. As broody as it makes me to watch, I just can’t imagine having to go through pregnancy, birth and the newborn stage again.

Sometimes I wish I filmed more videos during my pregnancy because it is always nice to relive the good experiences but I know that I just wasn’t ready to film and share that part of my life publicly. It is a shame but maybe that will encourage me to capture our memories going forward.

I thought I would mention too that I ended up taking the Motorola MBP36 Video monitor back as I saw the Angelcare AC1100 model on offer for an amazing price not long after I had purchased it. At the time, I blogged about it here.

To be honest with you, we have never used the sensor pad and barely used the monitor. I think, second time around, our lifestyle had adapted to life with children so much that the only time we used the monitor was when we were in Cornwall and Heath was asleep upstairs and we couldn’t hear him downstairs. Admittedly, the battery life was much better with our previous BT monitor and I rarely needed to use the video functionality. I would recommend a video monitor to a first time parent but probably not to those of you with children already.

What do you think about my Throwback Pregnancy Haul video? Can you tell I was nervous too? Let me know. Bx
