Yaay! 19 weeks pregnant and we know the baby’s GENDER!!
Sorry I don’t look great in these pics. I was very tired.
Boy or girl bump?
I am: at the end of week 19
I weigh: 128lbs/58kg
I’ve gained: 2lbs/1kg since last week but still 4lbs (2kg) less than my pre-pregnancy weight (I lost 13lb/6kg when I suffered with Hyperemesis gravidarum in the first trimester which is really bad morning sickness).
I’m wearing: non-maternity clothes today. The jean shorts are from Warehouse a few years ago and are a size 10 but they fit loosely below the bump. I wore them until the end of my last pregnancy. My vest is also from Warehouse and I bought it in the Autumn Sale.
How I’m feeling: Very restless and unorganised. I though I would sort out what we had and what we would need now that we know if we are having a boy or girl and I’ve been wanting to buy a few of the larger items even though they will clutter up our house for another 19-21 weeks. Well, all being well of course and fingers crossed.
Highlight: Seeing the healthy baby and finding out the gender at our 20 week scan. I will do a gender reveal post soon. I just need to think of a way to do it as some of our friends and family would like the gender to be a surprise. It was so cute to see Annabelle correctly guess the gender and to copy the sonographer at home by rubbing a toy microphone on my belly.
The baby is: right on size and everything is looking as it should. Andy commented on how much it fidgeted in the scan so it is just like Annabelle. From the scan it looks like it has my profile, the poor thing!!
Food cravings: I’ve realised that I’ve wanted to eat a lot of burgers during this pregnancy. I mainly crave GBK burgers, not that I’ve had one since being pregnant but I also have been wanting McDonalds. I had a Quarter Pounder after the scan with some Crisscuts and a McFlurry.
Symptoms: I’m so tired this weekend, which is the reason that I have posted this so late and not wearing makeup in the photos. I briefly fell asleep on the sofa today. My bump feels so high and as if they are pressing into my ribs and I also feel quite breathless.
My body: The bump is feeling quite firm and sometimes there is just a lump in the middle in a long vertical line depending on how the baby is positioned.
Any mood swings? None this week. Still a bit emotional when watching TV.
I’m looking forward to: Creating a gender reveal.
