I have been feeling quite productive recently and have the desire to spend my time doing things with a tangible outcome. In my post, 2025 Goals I touched on my overall outcomes, which were:
- To declutter (the home and mind!)
- To save for things I really want
- To have a healthier body and mind

Within these, I have a few tasks and targets to achieve them.
Goals:
- To work on my front crawl – I struggle with breathing on both sides with front crawl as I am out of practice. Breaststroke is my favourite style when I swim as I find it the easiest.
- To learn how to use more equipment at the gym – I’ve never had a gym induction as I joined towards the end of the pandemic. I’d like to focus on my arms and waist whilst I’m there.
- To try at least one new recipe once a month – I tend to stick to meals during the week as I can be out of the house for 12-13 hours of the day cos of my working day and the kids after school clubs. I’d like to experiment on a Sunday and try cooking tagine, ratatouille or some kind of meat or vegetable skewers recipes. Yesterday, Heath and I made pasta from scratch with meatballs.
- To do more charitable work – I have just finished my crochet challenge for Cancer Research and I have just started sponsoring a guide dog called Custard. I would however, like to do something to help others in a non-monetary way e.g. my colleague volunteers for the National Trust on her day off. Perhaps I could crochet woolly hats, hearts or blankets to donate.
- Create more social media content – I haven’t been active on my Instagram or TikTok profiles and would like to film more videos.
- Project Pan – to help declutter the home, I am trying to use up my makeup and skincare. I have lots of travel sized products that I save for holidays and trips away but I’ve already begun using these daily in order to make achieve this goal.
Have you got any things you would like to do in 2025? Let me know in the comments. Bx
