I love stripes. If you followed me on my pregnancy diary, you will seen a lot of stripey tops. One thing I am lacking though, is a nautical dress so when I found this beauty from Joules, I thought I would plan a Mummy OOTD based around it.

Unfortunately, as the weather is a bit nippy at the moment, I had to cover up this lovely Joules dress. Thankfully, I found a luxurious looking cardigan from Warehouse which complements rather than hides the dress. I currently have a grey cardie in my wardrobe but it isn’t as textured as this one.

Also from Warehouse, I saw these super cute T-Bar flats. I’ve had a bit of an obsession with red shoes since I was a young girl and have a pair of T-Bar sandals that I have worn every summer for the last four years. They add a splash of colour to my OOTD.

Oversized Hobo bags are one of my favourite accessories. This Topshop tassel shoulder bag is definitely a splurge item at £65, but I think that it wouldn’t look out of place in a capsule wardrobe not only for this year but for the last few years too.
