I had been feeling a bit low after Heath was born as I felt as though my life didn’t really have much of a direction or focus. I obviously loved being a mother and it’s something I’d always wanted to do for as long as I can remember but I felt as though I was just muddling through and not truly embracing life. Heath was nearly four months old and changing so fast. Nothing was properly documented and with Annabelle I was already beginning to forget when she rolled over, began to crawl or cut her first tooth.
As I’d been watching vlogs on YouTube, such as the Saccone Joly’s, ViviannaDoesMakeup and Hannah Maggs for a few months now, I thought I would try vlogging. I started filming over the half term but binned most of the footage as I thought, ‘Who would find my life interesting?’ I left it for a while but I had caught the bug. I just kept thinking, ‘Ooh I want to film that’. It dawned on me that I wasn’t filming for anyone other than myself and my family. I want footage of the funny things that Annabelle has said or the cute way Heath responds to the family. I want to be able to see what my husband has accomplished for example, the Bath Half marathon. So that’s where I started…
I hope you do enjoy watching my videos but at the end of the day, if it’s only our family and friends that watch it, then that’s enough for me. Big love, Bx.
You are a busy lady Beth. Annabelle is lovely. Heath great smile. Thanks for sharing
