2025 TBR*

(*To be read) In my recent post I shared the books that I have read in 2024. You can read that post here: Books 2024. In 2025, I am making it my mission to read a wider variety of books from authors who are new to me and might not be from my usual genre. For example, I don’t read a lot of crime, fantasy or historical fiction. Listed below are some books I own, as they have been given to me or I have purchased them already. Initially I aim to read 15 of these titles. I have then added a few extra books in the hopes of reading a total of 25 in 2025.

  1. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas (Currently reading)
  2. Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin (Currently reading)
  3. Grown Ups by Marian Keyes (I started this in 2022 but can’t seem to make any progress. 2025 is the year I finish it!)
  4. Magnolia Parks by Jessa Hastings
  5. Intermezzo by Sally Rooney*
  6. The Marriage Portrait by Maggie O’Farrell
  7. Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell
  8. Notes on Heartbreak by Annie Lord
  9. The Bee Sting by Paul Murray
  10. Milkman by Anna Burns
  11. Here One Moment by Liane Moriarty*
  12. The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller
  13. Verity by Colleen Hoover*
  14. How to Kill Your Family by Bella Mackie
  15. Still Life by Sarah Winman
  16. Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens
  17. Yellowface by R.F. Kuang
  18. Cleopatra and Frankenstein by Coco Mellors
  19. The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes*
  20. Life After Life by Kate Atkinson
  21. Case Histories by Kate Atkinson
  22. Sorrow and Bliss by Meg Mason
  • Faithful by Alice Hoffman
  • What a Way to Go by Bella Mackie
  • Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano

Any book with an asterisk is an author I like as I have read some of their works already. I have added a few of these here or there so as not to lose momentum and struggle to find the motivation to read!

Titles in bold are books I am particularly excited to read. I see What a Way to Go recommended quite frequently. My colleague at work really recommends Maggie O’Farrell and I am very keen to read these two books.

What is on your TBR and would you recommend any of these titles? Bx
