As this year draws to a close, I thought I would share some of my favourite things I have bought or gifts I have received.

I have been more conscious and mindful of what I buy and ask for as I am trying to reduce clutter in the home and to spend less on wants (versus needs).

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer

I find my hair is super soft and silky whenever I use this. Normally on a Sunday, I will apply to damp hair and leave for around 30 minutes before washing it off. It is a bit pricey but a little seems to go a long way. I also purchased it when there was a discount.

M&S Clothing

I have been shopping at Marks and Spencers for a few years now as I always saw something I liked whenever I popped in to get the basics for me and the children. Recently, I have been loving their wide leg cord trousers. I have them in navy and brown. They are perfect to wear to work and are very comfy.

Uniqlo Bags

These bags are my absolute favourite as they fit so much, are not expensive and the colour choice is great. I have them in black, dark green, beige, cream and cream corduroy.

Moisturiser

This Nivea Q10 energy night cream smells divine! I’ve nearly finished it and will definitely repurchase. My skin seems to have cleared up this year. Touch wood… I’ve not been getting any spots and the redness doesn’t seem so noticeable. I don’t seem to be doing anything differently so I don’t think it’s related to the products I use or my diet.

Adanola Sweats

As soon as I get home from work, I’m straight in to my Adanola sweats. I have this hoodie in the sweatshirt style but it is no longer available on their website. I bought it with the matching sweat pants. I also have their classic grey sweatshirt, an olive green one and the grey knitted jumper. I highly recommend. I have seen some people say that their products don’t wash well but I haven’t had any problems to date. I always wash at 40 degrees (except for the knitted jumper, which I hand wash) and hang on a rack. We don’t use a tumble dryer.
