Blogtober: Belle’s OOTD

Well, I really didn’t think that my first OOTD post would feature my little princess but how adorable does she look in these photos? I thought that I would give Blogtober a go as I have never done the whole daily posting thing but now that Annabelle has a couple of full days at nursery, I thought I would set myself a challenge. Initially I am aiming for a week. If that goes well, I’ll try a fortnight and see how we go… Wish me luck 😉

Belle OOTD

So today, Annabelle is modelling an OOTD. She is wearing a gorgeous grey knit top from HM with a tulle hem waist. Her trousers are from Primark. They are a pair of black jeans with off-white polka dots. We don’t have very many shoes in her winter wardrobe at the moment so she wore a pair of grey patent pumps from Next which I bought in the Summer.

Autumn Mummy OOTD

I have been a bit bored of my wardrobe lately and looking to update my Autumn style. Money is a bit tight at the moment so I have put together an OOTD (Outfit of the Day) with no one item costing more than £42. I hope to add these bits and bobs over the next few months.

Oasis coatigan, Topshop black ripped Jamie jeans, HM jodhpur boots, New Look khaki shirt, Oasis Shopper

I just love this coatigan from Oasis. It is a coat and cardigan fusion. Perfect for those mild Autumnal days. This caramel colour seems to be every where at the moment too.

I live in Oasis Cherry jeans but have recently discovered these Jamie jeans from Topshop in Indigo. They are high waisted ankle grazers and I wear them as often as hygienically possible. It would be cool to be able to get the black pair soon (pictured above) to alternate between washes.

I’m in desperate need of new ankle boots and think these jodhpurs from HM are perfect. If you are like me, you’ll need to wear flat shoes, as who can run after kids when you’re in heels? These help add just a teeny bit of height to my petite frame.

Khaki is a colour that I think suits my skin tone but I don’t often buy. (I think I’m drawn to greys and creams when I’m in a shop.) I thought this shirt would be lovely for this season because it looks like an Autumnal colour and as it is lightweight, it is ideal for layering.

Finally, what outfit would be complete without a shopper? Large enough to pop in a nappy, wipes and some Organix carrot sticks, as well as all your usual mummy essentials. It is a great size for the school run and looks a lot more expensive than it is.
